While every season is bikini season here at L*Space, we’re just like everyone else looking forward to the warmer weather ahead.
With the spring season just around the corner, it’s time to get those bikini wish lists ready. Straight from the L*Space design room, here’s a list of the top 2016 swim trends coming to a beach or pool near you!
Strapping
Embrace your tan lines. This season you’ll want to flaunt off those tan lines like a badge of honor. If you love strappy, you’ll love our LEXIE, NEW WAVE + WILD ONE (along with a few new silhouettes making their debut!)
Peek-A-Boo Cut Outs
Show a little skin. This season we’re loving the subtle (& not so subtle) peek-a-boo cut outs.
Denim
Our favorite wardrobe staple crosses into swim this year. From denim color-block to lace details, expect to see denim at a beach (or pool) near you!
High-Waisted Bikini Bottoms
From the beaches of the Bahamas to poolside in Miami, this season we’re expecting to see a ton of high-waisted bikini bottoms. Expect to see side cut-outs, ruching and color block detailing. We especially love our VALENTINA, MARILYN + TIGRESS.
Athletic-Inspired
We love functionality + fit when it comes to swim because let’s be honest, who wouldn’t want to wear their favorite suit to stand up paddleboard in? This season we’re loving our new LIVELY and a few other sporty silhouettes you’ll see in our Spring/Summer 2016 line.
High Neckline Halter Tops
Equal parts sporty and sexy, high necklines are one of our new favorite swim silhouettes this season. In addition to providing a little more coverage and support, we love the versatility of these suits as you can wear them with high-waisted beach pants or your favorite bikini bottom.
Black + White
Black & white never goes out of style. This season, expect to see new variations of black & white combos including animal prints, color blocking + strapping details.
